Guadalupe PrinceHead Coach
Lupe Prince concluded her eighth season with Germantown Academy in 2024.
The Patriots finished second in the Inter-Ac in 2024, with an 11-4 (5-3) record. GA had five All-Inter-Ac performers in Alex Katzer '25, Armon Meinstein '24, Max Baer '24, Justin Huang '27, and Vincent Zhou '26.
2023 saw GA earn a share of the Inter-Ac League title by going 9-1 in league play. GA went 10-2 overall, placing five student-athletes on the All-League team. For the first time in her tenure, the Patriots competed in the second day of the Shafer Doubles Tournament at Episcopal Academy.
In 2022, Germantown Academy earned a share of the Inter-Ac League title by compiling an overall record of 11-1 and a 8-1 mark against league foes. The Patriots had five All-League performers.
The Patriots did not compete in 2020.
Under Prince's watch, the 2019 Patriots compiled a 5-7 overall record and went 2-3 in the Inter-Ac League.
The 2018 Patriots compiled an overall record of 7-8 and an Inter-Ac League mark of 2-3. The team placed one player on the All-League team.
Prince was previously the head coach of the varsity girls’ team at Gwynedd Mercy Academy where she has led the Monarchs to three Athletic Association of Catholic Academies League titles (2008, 2012, 2014), a District 1 championship (2014), and a semifinal appearance in the 2014 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association state tournament.
At Wissahickon High School, where she served as an assistant boys’ tennis coach from 2012-2016, she helped the Trojans capture two Suburban One League American Conference titles (2012, 2016). Under her tutelage, the 2016 Trojans went on to finish runner-up in the District I tournament and advanced as far as the quarterfinals of the state tournament.
